The Agripreneurs Initiative is in operation under the Ministry of Agriculture and aims to empower youth in Kenya by integrating them into the agricultural sector as entrepreneurs.  The initiative is supported by the World Bank’s National Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (NAVCDP) and the Food Systems Resilience Program (FSRP), the initiative offers a digital platform for youth agripreneurs to manage and enhance their engagement with farmers across 46 counties. The platform provides resources, training, and market linkages to foster sustainable agribusiness ventures

Implementation Status

The Initiative is currently active, with several agripreneurs using the platform to connect with farmers and access markets. The program offers training in modern agricultural practices, business management, and the use of digital tools to enhance productivity and profitability
